lantern tour
Last night was the annual lantern tour at Carriage Hill Farm. More on that later. This has been a very busy weekend with lots of social activities with friends and family. I hope you have had a great weekend & I will be sure to post more images for you as the week unfolds.

I haven't posted any numbers in a long time. I've gotten some nice comments about the light in this image. The light is natural and comes fromt he windows to the right. Notice that I had to bump up the ISO and crank down on the shutter speed to get these tones. 1/30 is at the limit of my ability to shoot hand held. Any slower and I would have to use a tripod.

illusion
Sometimes perspective can really create some interesting optical illusions. In reality, Claire and Michelle are very close in height. Becauseof the length of the table and the camera angle, I have been able to make Michelle shrink and watch Claire grow. I kind of like messing with your collective heads.
