I am not a fan of country music as a rule. As with all rules, there are some exceptions. I do like to hear Dwight Yokum sing about white cadillacs, I love a good fiddle, and I absolutely adore the song Jolene.
I must have more than a dozen versions of the song on my iPad, sung by just as many artists. Dolly really knew what she was doing when she wrote the song.
Today, I bring you a version by the emerging Canadian band named Belle Starr. I came across their version of Jolene by complete accident. I am a huge fan of the band Great Lake Swimmers and fiddle player and singer Miranda Mulholland is a member of both groups. All I can say is that the woman must not have much time off.
Enjoy folks, and have a great Sunday. Here is to breaking the rules.
A very cool version Tim. Thanks for sharing

Jolene and fried potatoes and onions. A good way to start the morning.
