morning departure
driving underground
During this trip to Seattle, I’ve driven through this tunnel on I-90 in both directions on three occasions. Each time, I thought…. Wow, what a classic photograph this would make. Unfortunately I had the thought too late to do anything about it. This time, I was ready.
The camera was on the seat next to me, ready to go. All I had to do was pick it up and snap off a few shots. It was that easy. I picked the best of them, made a few adjustments in post processing and presto…. I now have my very own version of a very iconic image.
Right now, I am feeling rather pleased with myself.
morning tug
gas works park
Yesterday morning, I woke up early and drove in to Seattle to see the sunrise. I chose a spot called Gas Works Park. Several online well wishers had recommended the location.
They were right. I’ll share the view across the lake to Seattle tomorrow. Spectacular as the morning sky line was, the old gas works silhouetted against the morning sky was what had my attention. After the sun was up in the sky, I had breakfast that included homemade strawberry jam. Yummy! Then it was off to work for some fantastically creative meetings.
travel day
Yesterday was a travel day. Back in one of my favorite west coast cities, Seattle. Great meetings today, looking forward to more tomorrow. Not to worry, there will be pictures over the next few days. I wouldn’t leave you without something to look at.
