  1. I almost couldn’t look, her sorrow was so contagious. I had to scroll away, take a break. But then I went back and stayed with her, going from shot to shot and back again, feeling the feelings, because she doesn’t get a break, she’s in it for wave after wave. What courage and connection and generosity. Thank you both.

    1. Liz, this project was very much a joint effort. We talked before the shoot so that we both understood what she needed from the shoot. I believe it was a cathartic experience for her.
