This past weekend was threshing time on the farm. With several loads of wheat and spelt filling the barns and sheds, there was a lot to do. I’ve shown you the threshing process before, so I didn’t feel the need to document every step this year. Instead, I had the freedom of focusing on some of the interesting moments and details.
For instance, I was inspired by the fantastic motions that could be seen throughout the threshing process. There were lots of wheels and belts being driven by the steam engine.
Even the action of loading the wheat berries into the wagon had its own repetitive rhythm. And so, I spent part of the day capturing motion.
