Cultivating the Sorgum

Saturday morning was hot and humid. However, the temperatures did not prevent the farmers from getting out and cultivating the fields. It was good practice for Rose, the newest draft horse. She's in training to join the other working stock in running the farm. Good luck Rose.

bad news

I snapped this picture just as we found out about the deaths at the Dayton air show this past weekend. Now, when I see this image, I think about those poor people and their families. I also think about the families in the audience. I hope the kids that were witness to the tragic event are ok.

Some of you might be wondering what has become of Tim over the last few days? The truth be told, my third cold of the season and a particularly busy week at work had taken their toll and I needed some time to rest and recover. I am now feeling a little better and in need of some camera time.

Thank you for your patience, you folks are fantastic.

Tim

working it

Springfield, Ohio, alley, snow

I’ve been keeping an eye on this alley for some time now. I know there is a really good image lying someplace in its half lit depth. I haven’t found the image yet. However, I will come back from time to time until I do. Don’t hold your breath, this could take a while.

Persistence pays off… I hope.
