After last weeks wave of depressing black and white decay. I am feeling the need for a little color. Something with some life in it. I think this black eyed Suzy will do just fine.

Even in a prison, there was a location that could be used as a sort of retreat from the daily horrors, if even for just an hour on Sundays.

This is the last of my images of decay from the state prison in Mansfield, Ohio. My friend Jim Nash deserves a lot of credit for coming up with the idea of shooting there. Although we both had a great afternoon, we agreed that in the end, the place was really creepy.

More decay from the old prison in Mansfield, Ohio. Not a bad way to spend a rainy day. Though, the experience does become a bit heavy after a few hours.

 

 

 

Yesterday, my photo buddy Jim and I visited the old prison in Mansfield for our monthly photo outing. E place is old and creepy, perfect for a rainy day. I’ll be sure to share more images from our visit over the next few days.

Even the weeds in the rivers are pretty here in Seattle. I can’t get over how green this state is. After the Ohio drought, it’s really easy on the eyes.

Texting with my lovely wife when she tells me there is a badminton scandal. The Chinese have been throwing matches. Jodi wants to know why somebody would do that and how the matches stay lit when they throw them.

I love her so.
